Job Summary
The Veneer Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales/marketing initiatives within the veneer and siding industry to ensure top line sales growth. Successful candidates must have ability to build peer relationships within the company, mentor sales representatives, implement marketing programs and creatively assist senior management to drive the veneer and siding business. The territory will be across the east coast stretching in to parts of the south.
The Veneer Sales Manager will become knowledgeable about the products in the Oldcastle APG Veneer portfolio, are able to support local specifiers and contractors, have access to all the necessary sales and marketing tools and know how to install these products following established best practices.
:Will help to identify the best partners in each key market, meeting with local Oldcastle Companies, Independent dealers and alternative supply channels.
:Increase company revenue by supporting the sales of Veneer products.
:Responsible for developing effective relationships with Key Decision Makers, Specifiers, Dealers, Builders, Developers and Contractors.
:Ensure showroom installations, dealer displays and mock:ups are the best possible representation of our company and our products.
:Provide industry and product knowledge, competitive advantages, general design and installation training.
:Meet with local reps to develop product specific sales and marketing strategies, identify targets and assign priorities
:Create Tasks, Timelines and Prepare monthly progress reports.
:Regular Communication with local companies, sales and production: large projects, market changes, scheduling inventory levels and quality concerns.
:Maintain and provide accurate information in a timely fashion regarding product, packaging, pricing, ordering and delivery.
:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, training and education
:5+ years related experience managing a multi:million:dollar territory
:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
:High sense of urgency with entrepreneurial qualities
:Valid driver's license
:Able to lift 60 lbs.
:50 Overnight travel will be required
:Experience within the building materials and concrete Veneer industry
:Ability to navigate through a Customer Relationship Management platform
