:Provide multi:disciplined support for natural gas pipeline, compressor and measurement facilities for Transco's Natural Gas system in the Princeton NJ Division encompassing Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York City.
:Manage company's right of way encroachment policies and perform engineering calculations and services to insure the continued safe operation of facilities.
:Provide the data resources necessary to facilitate managements cost effective implementation of District and Division projects.
:Assist with tier I and II technical support for Division and District facilities construction, compressor operations and maintenance problems and projects.
:This position will have responsibilities to ensure compliance requirements are met for safety, environmental, Department of Transportation, and Company Policies and Procedures.
:Implement company's right of way encroachment policies relating to developments, business and residential property improvements.
:Design and manage Division construction and maintenance projects by; submitting project for budgeting with scope, justification and estimate, designing, bidding, material procurement, inspecting and completing the project on time and within budget.
:Become familiar with pipeline maps, alignment sheets, survey stations and equations, pipeline vehicle load and blasting calculations, river crossing and stream stabilization, and DOT CFR49 Regulations.
:Maintain engineering filing system (paper and electronic). General computer skills are essential, and some knowledge of GIS / CAD would be beneficial.
:Teamwork and communications skills, and shared ownership practices are also essential.
:Must be willing to develop the required technical expertise in all job disciplines.
:Participate on expansion project teams for facilities located in the Division's geographical area.
:Bachelor's in Engineering
:Previous industry experience
:EIT Certification preferred.
:Ability to multi:task and adjust priorities is a necessity.
:Ability to perform mathematical calculations, read maps and evaluate blueprints.
:Excellent communication skills : solid ability to represent the company with external and internal contacts.
:Organizational and leadership skills a must.
:Ability to work interdependently is mandatory.
:Must possess well:developed patterns of establishing priorities and following through on numerous projects in fast paced program.
